Not encouraged. Not because they don't want to help, but because NO ONE can accurately answer them. Admissions is done on an individual basis. Trying to figure out a "formula" is going to drive you and everyone else crazy. They can tell you that the board looks positively on certain things, but we cannot do a number check and consult a chart and give you a (yes/no) or even what your odds are at admission. Don't make yourself crazy and just do your best.

If you do a search, you will find hundreds of prior posts on this topic. As mentioned above, none of us work for USNA admissions so all we can do is guess about your chances which is really a waste of your time and ours.

@cajonrouge, the search function doesn't work very well on a phone or tablet. Try searching on a computer instead.

That being said, what others have mentioned is true. Nobody can chance you. It depends first on who your competition is in your district and how you compare to them for a nomination.
