Army ROTC 2023-2024 2nd Board

DS will be competing in the January board. Will be watching to see when people's status begins to change from "Board Ready" to "Boarded" next week. Good luck to everyone!

Same for us! I'm AF, husband is Army, and Navy was the first (and so far only) ROTC scholarship our son has gotten. If Army and Air Force don't want him... it's their loss and we will become a Navy family.

Navy is a great way to go! My time in Navy ROTC, the impact it's made to my life, and the friends I've stayed in touch with lead me to say I wouldn't change the choice I made all of those years ago. Crazy to think our kids are doing the same thing now. Best of luck for you too Flygirl!
 
I’m in the same boat. I got reboarded in October to January for army rotc but I received an AFROTC Type 1. Glad to have something but hoping to get an Army one this week because some of the schools I applied to only have army .

Good Luck! From what I've heard the 2nd and 3rd boards for Army will put the most out. Based on the last few years of these threads and some friends that is.
 
I still see Board Ready status this morning...does anyone see "Boarded" yet who wasn't on first board?...just realized it wasn't 9AM when I checked

DS still says "boarded/under consideration" has been that way since the last board he didn't get selected for. Army ROTC
 
It's only just now 9 am. I doubt the board has reviewed any/many files yet. I don't think it changes all at once but one by one as files are reviewed. I'd expect different folks will see status updates at different points throughout the week.
 
DD just moved from board/under consideration to boarded. What does this mean?
 
Still board ready here...but I'm sure they have a lot of apps to review to get to the T section of the list!
