Do they release the status of the applications by alphabetical order or is it random?

I selfishly hope it's alphabetical

Each application is only boarded once, then added to the overall OML. All applications that were complete after the 1st board, but on time for the second were boarded by the 2nd board. However, it takes time to update everyone's status. If you were not selected for scholarship when you were boarded, you still have a chance at a scholarship as where you fall on the OML determines if you receive a scholarship, not when you are boarded.

There are still a lot of scholarships to be handed out 3rd board. That’s when my son received his. Waiting is hard, but worth it!
