Army ROTC 2nd Board Results

DS also shows "Board Ready" today (Sat) but the schools tab is locked...

With this many people still board ready, I can only assume the statuses are messed up or they are waiting to change them until they release results. We are at the mercy of cadet command so who knows!

I tried it on my phone and I could see edit my schools of intent.... I don't think that's a good sign for me
Maybe it is the type of phone you have? Idk but I don't think they would be locking schools so soon. It took at least a week last board.

Last board never had schools to lock and last board was somewhat of an anomaly from the technical difficulties. I assume it will be normal when they choose it but for now I have to wait and see especially since the USMA boat closed for me ;-;

I wouldn't take it as a bad sign. 2nd Board last year, everybody had Schools of Intent locked before results were released, and obviously not everybody was awarded a scholarship. Sounds like the website is even more glitchy this year. Best of luck.

Did you reload the screen to double check? Mine was locked a couple days ago but I went out of the page and reopened it and I could edit it again.
How does it show that it is locked? I know if you have more than 7 schools, you can't update the schools, but does it not even let you see it?
Usually when it is locked you just can't move your list of schools around and the update list button won't work. I haven't ever seen the entire tab locked or anything like that.

Board 1 - Schools of intent did not lock and was not selected in the October round. On to this round.

By chance, does anyone know what the benchmark SAT/GPA scores were for October selections? I have read that the overall average is 1250 SAT and 3.6 GPA. Interested to know if DS is in the ballpark for this round with a 1370/27 SAT/ACT and 3.6/3.75 UW/W GPA? Thanks and good luck!

I was told the SAT average for first board was around 1480 by a AROTC school recruiting officer.

From what I read and researched, it was around 1450-1550 and GPA was like 3.7 and over. I had a 1480 SAT and a 3.8 (4.7 weighted) and I didn't make it. It was only 10% of the total scholarships, so this would be easier to get into? Good luck!

Update button won't work if you have 7 schools regardless if it's locked or not. Ig the only way would check if you can move the schools around

Fingers are crossed that we don't have to wait as long for results as the first board! Either way I am trying to just not think about it and not check the portal too much.

Great scores! I am betting you are a lock this time! Fingers crossed.
