Does anyone know when the Jan. review board (ARMY ROTC)will meet? Also, when will they post their decision?

From what I understand on posts on this and other discussion boards, the scholarship board for the Army met this week. It can take up to a couple of weeks to post/mail the results. The Professors of Military Science at your top choice schools apparently hear the results sooner than you do if you are selected. You might give one of them a call next week if you haven't heard yourself to see what they know.
 
I just found out I was awarded a 4 yr scholarship :D My admissions counsler from Norwich called to congratualte me. I had no idea. Haha so after the phone call I checked my status and sure enough, I was awarded one to all the schools I appied to :D
 
I just logged in and found out I got awarded a scholarship at Florida State, Univ. of South Carolina, St. John's, NC State, and Miami. But not at Furman, my number one, or Clemson my number 7 lol.
 
Congrats flyersboy im so stoked right now, which schools did you get yours from>
 
A PMS at one of my top schools called me the other day to congratulate me on receiving a scholarship. I told him my interview had only been submitted that day.

He called back the next day and apologized, I wasn't awarded a scholarship.

How cruel this world is!

wow that sucks. My status says pending DODMERB, but I have had my dodmerb done for a long time.....
 
Nvm Im all good got the letter today. Should I accept the scholarship and if I get an appointment to a SA just decline the scholarship?
 
im wondering

i have done all the necessary steps for the Army four year scholarship. I have had my profile in since august, but was wondering if i didnt have a strong enough one since i havnt been notified of acceptance. I have a 24 act, 3.81gpa national honors society, eight varsity letters, and am a shift leader were i work. Is is similar to what others have. Or am i long shot for the scholarship? Also when will the next boards meet? thanks
