Army ROTC Scholarship

Okay so I was recently selected for a four year Army ROTC scholarship. I am filled with joy, but I am also still waiting to hear from USMA for an appointment. I have been 3Q'd and have a service connected nom and a congressional nom and a senatorial nom. If I were to accept this scholarship and then later recieve an appointment to USMA would I be allowed to drop the scholarship and accept my appointment to USMA? Thank you in advance.

Congratulations on your Scholarship and good luck with USMA. Yes, you can accept the scholarship and then later decline it should you get an appointment to USMA. Happens all the time. Good luck!
