Army ROTC statistics 2016

they really don't know what ROTC is. It amazes me how so few people know this, but especially a school that helps to guide students in career choices.

DS had taken his official award portfolio to the scholarship/grant person that works on those things for the students and sets up the presentation of the scholarships on that award night She kind of just gave him a 'that's nice' I was talking to another NJROTC parent about our boys applications and scholarships and I told her that looks like ROTC scholarships are not being mentioned. She is librarian at the HS and she kinda lit up the scholarship lady and DS ended up being first Scholarship presented by a ROO from closest ROTC school when they said the 3 year ROTC is worth and it was something over 100k the whole room did the wowww Then the Reserve ROTC awards were done. That was first time ROTC and Reserve/Guard program awards had been acknowledged and we are a pretty military community with JIATIF and NAS. They did acknowledge the 3 that went toi academies the year before but they just didn't get that the other military service scholarships are competitive and important to recognize.

So by definition an "interviewee" is a candidate who also passed DoDMERB without outstanding remedials or waivers. Is that correct?

Also, the stats are only for High School student 4 year AROTC scholarship applicants, right?
