AROTC application complete. What next?

My DS has completed his AROTC application. His first choice school is Clemson and based on his grades I believe he has a really good shot at being accepted there. He interviewed locally at Lehigh University and it went very well. He was told by the PMS that he would highly recommend him. Is there something else he needs to do (or should do) or do we just wait? He did just retake his ACT so if he does better (31 on his first attempt) he will definitely update those scores. We did visit Clemson but did not meet with the ROTC folks there.
 
While you're waiting, visit the schools on his list AND the ROTC units.
 
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to make it back down to Clemson. Almost an 11 hour drive and cannot take more time off work. He is also looking at Penn State so can visit there for sure.
