Just curious if anyone remembers the response time once application is submitted. I submitted Sunday and would really like to get the PFA out of the way prior to the start of school. It appears that transcript and SAT scores must be verified prior to the PFA info being sent to my coach. This may be a lengthy process. Just wondered?

@Carolina Hopeful - I am not 100% sure, but I remember the PFA form is printed out and faxed or emailed to Cadet Command. This was the form that was used last year and sent directly to CC. My DS submitted his test scores prior to the PFA so there could be a requirement that I am not aware of. My DS printed out the form, performed the assessment (supervised by his coach) and emailed the signed document back to CC.

Good luck with your application.

@EEBTTF _Thanks. I did see the form but it indicated that the form would also be emailed to the coach. I know many teachers are away during the summer break so I wanted to make sure I sent to one that is available. We will see.

It was a pretty quick turn around. Within a week or two if I remember correctly. Don’t be in a rush to get the PFA out of the way. Make sure you crush it. Unless you are maxing it out, train for the next couple of months before taking the test and submitting. Every point counts. Also, my DS just printed the form out and had the coach fill it out. Then DS uploaded to the portal. I would not recommend faxing as it just adds a step and room for error.

Thanks guys. I saw the form. Just wasn't sure if that was all that they would send the coach.
I think you can print out the form, perform the assessment and have your coach sign it. Fax it in or email per the instructions on the form. I don't remember the form being emailed to DS's coach.
