Hi, I am a high school senior who is applying for an Army ROTC scholarship.
I am looking to get an economics/finance major, possibly just general "economics." However, I am applying to and very interested in 7 schools (all of which will be on my ROTC app), and the different schools have varying economics majors, including general "economics," but also "mathematical economics," "mathematical business," "political economy," "economics and international affairs," and "finance" (I will most likely not be majoring in finance but it's a possibility).
My question is, if I select "economics general" as my major on my ROTC app, will it be fine if the major is actually, say, "mathematical economics"? I've heard that scholarship recipients receive one "free" change in major, would this very minor change count as my one-time change?
Thank you so much for your time.
