We received an email to complete medical exam with DoDMETS, I am assuming it was from AROTC Scholoarship application as our academy applications still say "no action" but we did receive congressional nomination for both USNA and USMA. Just curious if it was common to have medical exam prior to the board meeting in January.

My son has applied to USMA and for an AROTC scholarship and hopes to be board ready for January. He had 90% of his USMA app complete and had not received the email for the medical exam so he reached out to Mr. Mullen and then received the email. He had his medical exams last week and has his PMS interview today. So I think the sooner you put that in motion, the better. This will probably get a better answer in the DoDmerb thread. Mr. Mullen will give you a response immediately, but it might be missed here given the subject of your thread. You can find his contact info and his standard instructions in the DoDmerb thread, but make sure the applicant sends the email (not the parent).

lolo 1096 - I answered you under the West Point thread. As Cmac154 says...it is the DS who is the applicant. The term "our" applies within your home:wiggle:

I agree! I was multitasking when asking the question. I completely understand it is "his" process that is why this process to complete the academy applications has taken so long. When we attended the information sessions over the summer as a family, they stressed the importance of the applicant working on this process independently.
