Did everyone that got boarded get one of those San Fran emails? I have been boarded since Saturday I think, but nothing has happened since.
 
We got the email last night also (from USF) and DS still sits as “boarded”. I don’t know anything about USF specifically but believe if they need to send out “cold call” type recruitment, that’s not the best sign about the program, but USF is a private Jesuit university. The Jesuit community has clear great track record in great education and running great universities.

I have yet to get any email from someone, i have been boarded and schools locked. I hope I do earn a scholarship instead of getting my hopes up for nothing.

Good luck! From previous threads, “boarded” is a good sign.
 
I got plenty of emails and calls regarding my earnings during the 1st board. Most came the day my portal changed(Thursday) and after. My initial call was on Monday. My classmate also earned a 4-year on the 1st board. She did not receive any emails or any calls. Keep your hopes up! We are from the same school and received different experiences.

Perhaps USF only outreached winners whom had similar price point schools??? Making for an easier transfer of scholarship..? Totally a guess. My son had 2 very high tuition private schools in his top 3 choices...

I heard some have like a "list" of things thing program wants and they reach out. I got reached out by all top 3 schools, Cornell!!!!!, MTSU, Memphis, and many more. What what weird is that I have been reached out by more during the 2nd board results, and a few recently during this time. Some reach out and some do not. They are not suppose to before the portal updates!

USF reached out to me last night congratulating me. Status is also still boarded and schools are locked. Nothing from any schools on my list though.

USF has an okay rating but is right in the middle of San Francisco, and I am not sure how supportive this environment would be for AROTC cadets. This is probably why they are so aggressive in recruiting. Rex from USF was offering room & board in addition to all the other benefits along with a special admission process and even a no-charge application. A pretty good offer.
