Syracuse University offers free room and board and if you get a 3 year, the school covers the fourth year.

Well unfortunately I don’t think I got anything. Logged into my portal and this is the only thing that is displayed
“The deadline for beginning new applications for school year 2019-2020 has passed. The next application window for school year 2020-2021 begins 12 June 2019.”
Can’t access My application anymore.???

You can still access your current application.
You just have to click on 2020-2021 starting college fall 2020 and it will take you to your application.

They should have just switched everyone to either "Winner" or "Unfortunately" before they changed the screen. Its like on to next class before they finished this one. Just some constructive criticism. However, I am happy for all who will receive scholarships this board. Also if you do not, remember there are many different ways to enter the military and help pay for school. This national high school scholarship program is only one of them.

My application is either still B/UC, or it just hasn't been updated. I just checked and it still says that...

My dd’s just changed this morning so don’t give up.
Correction: 16,000 towards room and board.

From what I am told, some schools have been reaching out and some are not. I think that the main way you learn is by the portal. I have been boarded since Saturday and schools locked, but have not recieved any emails or calls or portal changes. That is why I was asking when they might start updating the portals so I know when I might find out.

While I am still confident/hopeful, I would like to see some movement. I have been at B/UC since first board. I am close to the point that I want closure one way or the other. No matter what AROTC is for me!
Do you have a ROO you can contact for confirmation? My DS reached out and was able to confirm that his name was not on the list. Closure needed to move forward with plan B. Wishing you the best of luck!
We found out from the school. Portal hasn't updated yet.
