AROTC Scholarship Board - Week of March 23, 2020

The instructions are in the packet. Clearly not getting into schools (say you were awarded to MIT, Harvard and Yale- but you are more a Montana State kind of kid) is highly likely to have your transfer approved.
Thank you! My DD’s friend is dealing with this now and I am trying to advise. DD was able to get a school change back in Feb so she knows first hand how smoothly the process can be, but his issue is totally different.

Correction to winners packets. They are not being sent out this board. On your dashboard click additional info in links. There is a pdf titles scholarship winner instructions.

There is a pdf called accepting scholarship and transfer request. Instructions are in there to transfer.

You will need to upload the winner letter in the file upload tab.
An email will be coming out explaining this. Be patient.

My son got the 3 Year Award. Now, he's got to make a decision. He had already written it off (as in he was not going to get it because he was boarded for months) and was about to accept another college, but now this changes everything.
We were in exact same position - my DS went into a somewhat self-preservation “I don’t care if I get it or not” and is now having to wrap his head around being a winner.

YOURE KIDDING ME?! So incredible! But you said Ole Miss is going to give you a 3-year campus, right?
They haven't said if they'll give me anything yet... I just emailed the ROO to let him know and see if they'd like to give me something.

For reasons that I will never understand/know, the board didn't like me enough to give me a scholarship.

Every ACT test, every grade, every time I went into school early for tutoring, every mile I ran, every push-up, every sit-up, the fights, the tears, the heartache... was for naught.

Nah, you’ll get a campus-based one. Can’t wait to hear what the ROO says!

I haven’t received any messages or communication yet. All I know is I’m B/UC but my schools of intent are Locked and read only
