I am looking to try and pay it forward in regard to asthma, my DS and the path we took in order for him to become qualified.
I hope this helps:
1. I took upon myself to seek out a specialist for breathing / asthma.
2. The Dr. I found happened to work with Navy divers. (This was a very big plus.)
3. Used my medical insurance and was not a hit.
4. Supplied the specialist with all of my DS prior medial history.
5. The Dr. was not at all a fan of the methacholine challenge test.
6. Dr. insisted on the spectrometry.
7. DS took the spectrometry and based on his numbers the Dr. wrote a letter clearing my DS of asthma.
8. Supplied all medical information to the remedial.
9. Qualified.
I'm quite certain I may have left information out or that there my be questions. Please PM me is anybody has questions.
