What is a conditional appointment? What does a waiver mean? Still waiting for my status - maybe some mail today!!
 
Andrew, this is great news. Congrats! I registered just to wish you good luck on your waiver! You really need to make this news a new post. I'm sure there are several here rooting for you even if you are a Yankees Fan:thumbdown::shake:.

Your posts have been helpful for my DS who knows he is on the bubble. Your dedication lets him know it is possible if you put your nose to the grindstone:wink:.

Conditional appt. means you are accepted provided that you meet certain requirements, such as getting your DODMRB done or taking an SAT /ACT test, or whatever you would still need to do to complete your file. A waiver would be to admit you with something that may normally be disqualifying , such as a medical condition.
