Does anybody know how the USCGA waiver system/doctors account for athletic injuries that are not acute but are not really chronic? In this instance, there was a previous issue that was not progressive, does not impede participation in sports and PT, and resolved at the time of DodMERB review, but still resulted in disqualification. Waiting for a waiver. Seems they would want athletes, but athletes may have a greater chance of injury. Is this accounted for?
