About what percentage of NROTC midshipmen get an aviation slot? I realize its competitive as grades, major tier, and PRT score all go into it. Thank you

Using the USNA CO 20, 22% went to flight school. 4% Flight Officer. If you include the Marines then, its 31% for flight school.
USNA is prob a good example as its population is taken from a nationwide pool and each ROTC unit is much smaller. So, figure 1 in 5 chances of going to Pensacola. Of course, not all who go get their wings. Start studying the ATSB asap, get good grades, and a good PRT score in the Spring of your Junior year you should be good to go.

Keep in mind, as someone else mentioned on this forum beforehand, CNATRA has announced that they are cutting MIDN to flight school numbers in the coming years. Those 2020 numbers are competitive but it is about to get even more so.
