"Awaiting Reciept of Remedial"

BLUF: DD was disqualified for myopia (refractive diopters error greater than -8.0. Academies automatically submitted for Waivers. None of the academies have told us what details they want from her eyes doctor. We went yesterday (coincidentally enough) to get her yearly eye check and talk to the doctor about running various tests and submitting her results to DoDMERB on her behalf. Doctor contacted us last night she would be emailing the letter/notes later this week.

Today, DD logs in and sees that there is an update to an Academy with a notation of "Awaiting Reciept of Remedial". I'm not sure what we're supposed to be sending because we did not get an email or call from DoDMERB or the Academy on what information they need. Could this be AMI? I don't know where the AMI is located that many of you speak of because we haven't been asked.

I've searched around this website looking for our scenario and I'm unable to find a like thread; so I'm sorry if my question is redundant, I just don't know what I need to ask because...well...I don't know.

I'm pretty sure that's an AMI. Usually you can check to see if the academy is asking for an AMI if you look on their portal. I know that West Point's DODMERB status on their portal changes to "REMEDIAL" if AMI is requested. Ask your FFR/BGO/ALO just in case to see if they can see anything on their side of the portal. Personally for me, I had to get a waiver so it changed from "REMEDIAL" to "REQUEST TO WAIVER".
