Beginning of March! More appointments rolling out?

Good evening,

With the new month among us, and the summer quickly approaching, should 2025 candidates expect to see a larger number of appointments rolling out in the coming weeks? I know there has been one USMA appointment given in my CG district so far, but I've always heard "if USMA wants you, they will take you, regardless of how many come from each district." Is this accurate?

With March rolling around, appointments will start to come in, about 40% of the class. All NWL candidates will be offered admission, and any other people who have been 3Q'd will also be considered. Appointments are decided by the admissions committee every Tuesday with the results released on Friday.

Thank you for your insight! I now know that it's pointless to check my portal twice a day, Monday through Friday:)

I don't think all NWL candidates will be offered appointments.

It's crazy! My CFA videos were submitted three months ago. Still waiting!
 
Appointments will roll out steadily until 1 May. So, this is the part where if you are 3Q with a nom, you just keep working out, making another great plan, enjoying your family, and staying strong at school. You have to keep faith.
It definitely becomes harder to wait if you have heard nothing and it is the last two weeks of April but there is a lot of shuffling that takes place.

Yes I can second that. Had a friend who received his appointment to USNA end of April. While it is USNA, the process is similar so don’t lose hope until you hear official notice.
 
In an average year, how many appointments are declined to fill a class of approximately 1200? Meaning, how many offers does USMA usually send out?
