Not yet. Last year, March 14th seemed to be the first wave, but this year's self appointment list hasn't seen that 20+ in a day yet. I'm still waiting for that green circle and 100% to change as well 😂.
 
The big wave looks like March 20 (tmr) for the portal update. Congressmen have been calling this whole week.

No, it doesn’t mean rejected. Not all congressional offices call their appointees to congratulate them. From my observation it’s about 50% that do call. You’re in the running until you get notification from USAFA that you didn’t make the cut.
 
What does LOI and LOA stand for? I see it a lot in this forum.
My son's portal has not changed in months...lots of green check marks and 100% complete...2 nominations, but no phone calls. Very frustrating to say the least...

Letter of interest (means as much as a college email that says "We want you") Letter of assurance (means the same as a college giving you an acceptance letter, just that the actual thing will come later)

yes, keep in mind we are only seeing the small subset of folks that are offered appointments.
