Blood Donation

Are there ever blood drives at USAFA? My son is O- and likes to donate when he can.

Had to chuckle out loud...I am sure "VAMPIREXES" or the AF nickname will occur just as periodically at USAFA as they do at USNA and every other military installation. It's a fact of life. Navy corpsmen love to practice on nice young veins, and I expect that's true across the board. And besides, there will be cookies and juice!

Good for your son, especially with O-.

We usually hit the academies before winter break. That way the blood can be used to help during the holidays when there are frequent shortages.
