Blue Chip Dinner - N. Texas

So.......DD received an invitation today to a "Blue Chip Dinner" from the USNA North Texas Alumni Association. Sounds pretty cool, anyone in N. Texas have past experience with the event? She's pretty excited! The Commandant is scheduled to be the guest speaker.

I was also invited. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. I have heard nothing but great things about it.

It's a very nice dinner with great speakers! You and your DD will have the opportunity to meet and speak with graduates and Midshipman in attendance. I believe a purpose of the dinner is to sway the hopeful candidate to choose USNA over other other options they may have before them.
