Boarded under consideration changed to boarded

Anyone else notice a change on AROTC board from boarded under consideration to boarded?
 
Oh boy... this happened last time right before winners were notified... hmmmm....
 
Mine just changed from "Boarded/ Under Consideration" to "Boarded" as well. Don't know if this is a good or bad sign
 
Haha! I think they are torturing us! There are no more boards to get "boarded" again. My DS's portal has not changed from "boarded/under consideration."
 
DS said his status changed today as well. Hopeful that this is a good sign. :)
 
This same thing happened just before the decisions went out during the second board. My DD's still says "boarded/under consideration" which means she probably did not get selected. So devastating. :(

Don't give up hope entirely. I know how it feels to wait so long and work so hard yet have a different outcome than desired. Keep pushing through and there's also campus based ROTC scholarships so if she's still serious on enrolling in the program definitely contact the ROO and look into the criteria and selection process for campus based. From everything I have read on here the last board takes the longest to roll out results as there are many things in play such as that choose academies over ROTC and those that have multiple branch offers. Not to mention we don’t know if the process is the same as last time. Don’t give up yet!
 
I think it can go either way.

One could argue that the one's that changed from Board/UC to Boarded will get scholarships.

The other side of that argument is why would they change someone's status twice, and those folks moved "backwards" in the pipeline. So with that logic, the ones that haven't yet changed will be awarded scholarships.

The third is.....it's the military, and who knows why they do things, it's all up in the air and people from both groups will be awarded scholarships.

The point is, don't hang your head right now, nobody really knows what is going on until the scholarships are actually awarded. Hang in there everyone.
 
I just looked back through posts from February and found cases where people who went from "boarded/uc" back to "boarded" got scholarships and people who never switched from "boarded/uc" got scholarships so I don't think that it is any indication.
 
I looked through the past posts and it appears that the people who changed to boarded were selected as winners and the ones that stayed boarded/UC were not selected. I hope that’s wrong, my DD’s hasn’t changed.
 
Maybe tomorrow's the day, or maybe two weeks from now. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.
 
The wording on the application makes it seem like the "boarded" specification is for people who's packet is being reviewed by this board, as it states that "your file will only be boarded once". While people already on OML stay "boarded/UC". However, I could be reading too far into it. I'd love for an ROO to chime in though.

Edit: it also states that "boarded/UC" applications are still eligible for a scholarship from this board. I think everyone is psyching themselves out.

With all the changes they've made this year to the status pages, it's anyone's guess what anything they write means. It will all become clear soon, hang in there.

You wouldn't believe how many times things have changed over the last 10 years since my first son applied for a scholarship. The system today is unrecognizable to what it was then other then the fact it's still called AROTC.

my status changed from boarded /Under Consideration back to boarded right before the results came out 2nd board. Good luck to all of you and hopefully you will all find out soon!!
 
For those of you who had your status changed to "boarded", does it still say boarded this morning or did it switch back to "Boarded/UC"?

Mine still says "Boarded" as of this morning. I even refreshed the page to be sure.
It first switched from "under consideration" to "boarded" yesterday afternoon.
