Hey Guys! I'm new to the whole boot sizing/ordering online, and I was wondering if someone would be able to answer some of my questions!

1) Should the boot model be BIFIBA or BIFIDA?
- I haven't been able to find a model that says BIFIBA, but I've seen models with BIFIDA instead. I was wondering if it was just a typo, or if I am just horrible with online shopping.

2) Since I haven't been able to personally try on the size, how tight should the fit? Should I leave 0.2 inches of extra space versus 0.4?

Thank you so much!!

Can’t help you with the model but you do not want your boots to fit extremely tight. Best fit will be one where your foot does not move up and down where rubbing can causes blisters along your heel or toe, but you have enough space that if your feet swell after rucking for a couple hours or spend prolonged time in the field, they stay comfortable, can still breathe, and don’t create friction on your toes. For me that’s about a width of a thumb distance from my top of my big toe to top of boot like how I would fit running shoes for similar concept for long runs.

It must've been a typo, there is no BIFIBA. Since the new boot memo this year says any AR-670-1 boots that are compliant work, you could wear a lot of those Garmont T8 variants (i.e. BIFIDA or NFS). My BIFIDAs are at the same size as my running shoes, so I don't feel as though you need to order a half size up or down.

DS got Garmont T8s from the Cadet Store and they seem to be true to size. No issues.
