Hello,
I was wondering if it would be wise to use the whole year that I won't be able to apply to any Federal Service Academies like West Point to build up my profile as a candidate. I realized I wanted to go to a military academy in the summer before my senior year. Besides doing very well in all my classes I haven't really got an attractive candidate profile compared to someone that was quite aware of their goal and had four years to prepare themselves. I have been told by my teachers that I should give it a try. Would you say that taking advantage of the two years (Senior year and Freshman year of college) to build myself up as a candidate to these institutions would be a good idea? Thank you for your time and input in advance!
