Cadet CAC Card

DS got his CAC card today, shouldn't a cadet rank show, what is shows is SGT/ E5. No he is not SMP.
I thought my cadet card said cadet.

That's what contracted Cadet CACs say. My Cadet's does also.

Mine said SGT/E5. And that's what I was paid as for my active training stints like Advanced Camp.

Mine also said E5 when in ROTC. At USMA it lists it as STDT/CADET, as we earn cadet pay vs. E5 drill pay like ROTC.
