Hey everyone,
I sent a Plebe Shoe Order Form to the Cadet Store about a week ago through email. Until now, they still have not charged my card or responded to my subsequent email. I saw someone posted how they got their boots/low quarters in as little as 1-2 days. Do I keep waiting, try faxing, or should I order them from a different source? Any input would be appreciated.

You might try calling. They may be closed due to the need to limit exposure of non-essential federal and other employees to the virus. Also, the Corps of Cadets is not on post at this time. Try to call, then try getting your shoes elsewhere.

I faxed my order form in last Wednesday and received my boots, low quarters and socks on Thursday. They also fulfilled an exchange I requested yesterday.
They are still working.

We faxed and got them quickly and exchanged them also. Fax is definitely the way to go.

Just curious if you ever heard from the cadet store. I am in the same boat and when I tried calling today the message states they are closed due to the virus.

Just our experience, but at this stage and with the uncertainty at USMA, best bet is probably Amazon or one of the tactical equipment outlets. The in demand low quarters can be hard to come by the later in the season you get.

Best

I have not heard back from them. I decided to just order everything off of amazon and if the cadet store processes my order, I'll return one of the orders.

Good move.

The C Store will do their best but who knows what kind of duress they are working under right now.

I received an email from them today. They are working but stated there are delays in shipping. I was able to cancel order and am getting boots and socks elsewhere.

We faxed in our order approx. 2 days ago to the Cadet Store based on what we read in this forum. We saw the charge appear on our credit card account today. Now fingers crossed for delivery!

I emailed them my order form about a week ago and received an email saying there would be a major delay in processing as well. It seems as if faxing is the way to go, as all those who I have contacted/seen got charged and received their shoes pretty quickly.
So I'm going to fax in my order, and then cancel my email one? Not sure how that works exactly, but we'll see!

To follow-up on my post above, we were pleasantly surprised to receive the shoes on Friday. We had faxed our order in during the beginning of the week. We're in NJ so we're relatively closer in terms of shipping time, but hopefully this helps.

The Bates low quarters for my DS need to be exchanged so that's an ongoing story. My wife shipped them back yesterday.

You will be issued all the socks you need

They will get issued underwear too, but they suck.
Highly recommend buying/bringing compression shorts and Fox River socks. Many....
It’s always stated you can show up on R Day with nothing, because you will be issued everything you need. That is true, but some items are best to bring if you want better quality. That’s especially true regarding footwear and socks. The Bates low quarters, and an approved pair of boots to be purchased and broken in before RDay is a great suggestion. Take care of your feet!
Having said that, stick to the packing list and don’t bring too many non essential items. Stick with only essential.
You will have the opportunity to go to the Cadet store later and don’t want to lug all that stuff around all day.

Just wanted to give an update— I ordered my boots from the cadet store on Monday afternoon and they arrived today. I did it through email, so it looks like email may be just as fast as fax!
