When do the plebes recieve their computers and when can they start using skype? It also says summer sessions ends on the 23 of july, does that indoc is over?

No skype at all until they are recognized so that would be closer to March? April?
Computer when they start school.
Indoc last 2.5 weeks.
Write letters!!!
If they can get on facebook, then messages can be sent through that. That was basically how my DS and I communicated. That and text messages on the phone, when they are allowed to have their phones with them all the time - and that is NOT right after Indoc either.
Other than that, Sunday phone calls but not the first Sunday.

Yup agree with above. Actually Facebook wasn't really "allowed" but it was available so it was used. Last year they did get their phones back earlier than planned for safety reasons but were not permitted to use them unless given permission or for an emergency. Even when they had them back they could only be used on Sunday (and not every Sunday) while they were outside standing at attention. I received many calls with DD standing out in the rain. Also if an athlete they are given their phone for TM (team movement). Letters and e-mail once on computer are the best means of communicating.
