Is anybody else sick of all of the corruption in Politics!

Embarrassed that a California State Senator was arrested for GUN RUNNING..
I understand he is innocent until proven guilty.....But when somebody is arrested in a FBI sting....my guess is that where there is smoke there is fire..

What's worse... Senator Yee (Democrat-SF area) was the KING of gun control legislation! He was all about anti-gun ownership bills, all while he (allegedly) was brokering gun deals with Asian gangs in SF. Some of the guns involved are shoulder fired rocket type weapons. Disgusting!

I hope Senator Yee goes away for a long long time. It's pretty much a fact that many do enter political office for their own personal gains,...but I think that there should be extra charges against those who are found to have used the office for such outrageously selfish motivations.

I remember a quote I heard in a Poli Sci class years ago... and I can't remember who spoke it, but they were words similar to "I don't hold this public office for my personal gain, but rather so that a lesser man can't". Yeah, those days are long gone!

Its all about getting the votes to keep his job. In this case maybe deeper ties to chinese culture and blood bonds
