Candidate Activities Record Error?

Hi, I am an applicant for USNA c/o 2020.
I am in the process of completing my application package.
However, when I tried to submit my Candidate Activities Record, a red "Error" message would appear at the top of the page (above the counselor info. section). I know for sure that I completed the form fully and correctly (I have checked multiple times). It also seems weird be because the error message did not state what I did wrong, as was the case for all of the other application materials.
I know that I should ask my regional admissions counselor, and believe me I have, but they are currently on vacation unable to answer my email.

I just thought I should ask if anyone else is having the same troubles as well. Any solutions?

For clarification, the error message appears after I have clicked submit. Instead of going to a new page, it remains on the form page.
 
It may be that you could have too many characters in the 'Remarks section' at the end of the form. (Limited to 2000 Characters)

2000 characters works out to about 300-325 words or so.
 
If I recall correctly from DS's app a few years back, the 2000 characters includes hard returns, spaces and punctuation. He had some challenges submitting so called tech support and this was his problem - his character count in Word was 5 - 10% below the 'allowed' max.
 
I actually put my remarks into a character counter (which counted spaces and punctuations). Who can I call for tech support?
 
I believe DS found a phone number (or could have been an email that eventually led to a phone number being provided). Sorry I can't tell you exactly. I'll see if he remembers but he's 'off the grid' on summer cruise so I not sure when I'll speak to him.

Is your character count close to the limit? DS also went back and removed hard returns between paragraphs and instead used indentations. Not sure exactly what broke the spell but it did go through eventually. Good luck!
 
To be clear on my last post - he found a number or email in the application portal somewhere....
 
I am having the same difficulty submitting my CAR. After submitting, the page opens back up with "Error!" at the top. I know it is not an issue with the character limit in remarks because I was getting a message previously prompting me to cut down on the character amount - and increasingly cut down until it submitted. If anyone has advise on a work around, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
My son is having the same problem. We called the Academy Admissions desk and they said you can't cut and paste. He retyped everything that narrow box, but has the same problem. The big red ERROR keeps coming above the counselor's name. Also, our counselor has a two word last name. The application doesn't like it. He had to merge it into one. Surely someone has overcome this?
