Candidate file not opened

My candidate file has yet to open. I was upgraded to candidate status for USNA back in May and USAFA last month, so I don't think any scores or grades are to low. I read previously on this forum that it was supposed to open at August 15 at the latest. Is this true and what should I do?
 
I also have not received anything that says that I did not pass the initial screening, my portal is just not open.
 
This happened to me last year and all I did was contact the admissions team and they had it opened within 3 or 4 days of my email. I'm not sure if it's just the volume of candidates that apply or if it's something to do with your individual files. Nevertheless, contact the admissions team and just see what's going on. I emailed but I don't think it matters. A phone call might be more helpful just so they can explain whatever they need to in depth.

That's exactly my question on the thread that I just created. I email them through my account and 3 days later my application was opened. It should not be like that. The application should be open for all at the same time because it disadvantage me on doing it later than others. Any USMA personnel that can explain this????
