Hello,

My son's DoDMETS status was "Complete & on hold" as of Oct 5. He waited until Oct 18 and sent enquiry email to CIV team. CIV team replied and asked for some verification about his scar on doctor report. He answered and got back that "this has been added to the file and it has been closed. The exams will be sent to DODMERB for follow up and review."

However, when we checked the website, status is as following:

==========

Your DoDMETS "case" is the data from your profile, medical history survey and medical, optometric and audiological examination records compiled to with the intention of being submitted to DoDMERB.
View this page before, during or after you've attended your examinations to determine if DoDMERB has received your case information and your it is being processed correctly.

Currently Your Case is "Incomplete-Closed"

Your DoDMETS case is Incomplete-Closed as of 10/20/2022.

What does "Incomplete-Closed" mean?

Your case does not have all of the required examination records. It may be the medical (physical) or optometric screening. It would be wise to schedule your missing exam, or if you have taken it, call CIV Team so we can track down the records with your provider.
All of your examination records have been received, reviewed by a CIV Team case manager, and sent to DoDMERB.
Your medical examination records were submitted to DoDMERB on 10/20/2022 3:00:00 PM
It generally can take 2 to 4 weeks for a determination.
Please go to dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil to keep track of your file after it is sent to DoDMERB.

===========
I clicked on the website link but it is under "Maintenance" and stated that any documents submitted after 21 September have not been processed. My son have attended both Medical and Optometric screenings. Also, the bottom two paragraphs seem contradictory, is my son's examination records completed or is something missing?. Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks in advance

DoDMERB has been down for some time. @MullenLE has broadcast this info and DoDMERB is working on the problem. Until the system is back up, have your son try contacting Mr. Mullen thru this site and see if he has further insight into your son's particular case.

As far as "incomplete-closed", I agree it seems an oxymoron that it says "incomplete" but also says "medical exam records were sent to DoDMERB on 10/20/22". Your son will not be able to access DoDMERB until the system is repaired, but likely can contact either Mr. Mullen, or his admissions team to get status and be notified if he needs to do anything.

thank you for the reply. I will ask my son contact Mr. Mullen thru this site to see what going on. Does he need permission from Mr. Mullen before contacting?

APPLICANT SON : If you’d like, you may send me an email:lawrence.e.mullen.civ@health.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “hrattana- SAF =Case is "Incomplete-Closed".“ Do NOT embed links in your email as I will not be able to view those :wiggle:

thank you so much for your help. My son sent you email and is trying to sort it out with providers.

However, today he just got another an email with subject line "DODMETS.com | Applicant Approval Letter" from info@concorde2000.com with the steps to start a medical exam process in the body of email. Not sure what is going on.

He will call CIV team on Monday.

There have been posts from several who have gotten a similar email. Sounds as if there's something glitchy going on related to them getting DoDMERB back online. Mr. Mullen indicated he is stepping away from the forum for awhile to focus complete attention on matters at hand with the system. Good luck to you and your son. It's a stressful time for sure.
