If you are bi-racial (in my case half caucasian, half asian), am I considered a "diversity candidate"?

No, at least not for enhanced consideration in admissions.

I don't recall all of the classifications, but they definitely include Black, Hispanic, Native American (including Hawaiian and Alaskan).

Probably not, but SAs (well, I can only speak for USAFA and USCGA where my DD got invited to FVE and Genesis) have broader definitions to include underrepresented districts, schools, unique situations beyond race. My DD also halfsies like you. But she goes to underrep'd district, and also several very unique circumstances. You don't know what the SAs will deem an essential candidate with diversity elements in YOUR cycle, and this could differ by SA.

She was an exceptional candidate as well. I am sure even if all the above scenarios were not there, she would have a fair chance.

I’d ask Admissions. General Williams recently addresses WPAOG and when talking about diversity in the 2024 class brought up Asian as a diversity category to go along with African American and Hispanic.

My DS was not accepted to USMA, but commissioned in 2019 through Army ROTC. He is now an Active Duty Armor 2LT and is a bi-racial Asian/Caucasian.

However, we will never know if his 3 year AD scholarship had anything to do with his ethnicity.

And besides, either way, would knowing this impact how hard you work or study?
