Cell Carrier

When I did my visit to KP I had 0 phone service on campus (AT&T). I know this won't be a HUGE issue for me my plebe year but if I'm going to switch carriers I'd like to have solid service at KP.


Anyone have any suggestions? Carrier? Phone? Cheap.

The iPhone won't charge anymore so I'm looking for a replacement, might as well leave ATT while I'm at it.

We have verizon and it's hasn't been any problem for us.

We have AT&T as well and the service is spotty to say the least. However, I found the phone makes a difference as well. I'm afraid attending KP and having 100% reliable cell phone service are mutually exclusive.

differences in cell phone service

We went to the sprint dealer and he explained that Verizon and Sprint are better than TMobile/ATT at KP location. He had a map that showed service and we could look down to detail for the streets the school is located. Also, something about their platform is better in highly populated areas versus our midwest service with Tmobile. Techie husband understood it all and agreed that we need to go with Sprint or Verizon if we want DD to have phone service.

We have AT&T DS also has an iphone. We have had no problems with calls- except for an occasional dropped call.
