CFA Administrator Difficulties

I am a college freshman far from home (and therefore far from any and all PE teachers, officers, and coaches I've known personally). I need to take the CFA ASAP. I have contacted the following:

- 2 local ROTC detachments
- The nearest MEPS
- 1 local military science professor
- 1 local JROTC instructor
- 5 local high school phy-ed teachers

Every single one of the above has answered that they are not willing to administer a CFA right now (most say they are too busy).

Does anyone have any advice or helpful personal experience? My current plan is to just keep contacting people who are eligible to administer the test, but I am worried I will run out of time.

I don't know about how AFA works, but for West Point you can have an NCO administer it. Maybe try and go to the local recruiting office and have a Staff Sergeant or a Chief administer it for you, they are not usually extremely busy. I know one kid in my district who is in college right now, had a Master Chief administer his because he was all that was nearby (I do not know if he went to a recruiting office though).

What general area? I think USAFA does not allow NCOs to administer, but an active duty commissioned officer (any branch) can. I would bet your ALO could find one for you, but if you PM me the city/college, I can also probably find someone depending on where you are.

Any ALO can do this. There is one in your area. Call the Academy, your local school district, or talk to your ALO, they will connect you.

Definitely talk to your ALO. I had this problem earlier and asked my ALO, who told me that she could forward my name to the appropriate source to make sure I get it done in time.
