CFA for Reapplicants

Do reapplicants have to retake the CFA even if their previous scores are less than a year old? Also, can one submit a score and try to improve and submit more scores? Like SAT/ACT?
 
Yes you will have to retake the CFA. They only do that so they can measure physical preparedness every year for each candidate.
