i took my cfa and I'm wondering how to know if I failed. My due date for my application was Nov 1. I submitted everything including my cfa. Does usafa say if I passed? Or is "no news good news". They say they reviewed and processed my cfa. All scores were up to par (max or barely below max) except mile which was 7:40. Just wondering if I know I passed or what is going on.

Side note: I did receive nomination. Super happy about that.

We have nearly the same scores, and I know I passed, so no news is good news...

Granted, I did hear that their standards may change depending on the candidate's statistics, extracurriculars, etc. They do not publish a baseline pass/fail reference to check.

Good luck and congrats on the nomination!

Thank you. How are you sure you passed? Did they send you a notification?

Why was your deadline November 1st, I thought the deadline was December 17, that's what it states on my application portal anyway.

KLCman, your deadline is exactly four months from the day you opened your candidate portal. You must have started your application on 17 August. Each candidate has his or her individual deadline for submitting materials. Hope that helps.

If you're really concerned just call your admissions counselor. I did that when I applied and it was nice just to have that quick reassurance.
