MY DS just took his CFA at USNA SS and did well but due to the large number of people taking the exam, he wasn't able to get approval to have it recorded. I would hope that because of the fact that it was done at a service academy, perhaps they would provide some latitude?? But maybe not. His scores were:

BB Ball 60
Pullups 15 (PB)
Shuttle run 8.2 (PB)
Situps 71
Pushups 75 (PB)
Mile Run 6:15 (PB)

Many of those were Personal Bests and I would hate to see his score get worse but may he will need to retake to record the Push ups and pull ups.

Any suggestions would be most helpful

Those a very good scores. I would encourage him to dig into the issue and find someone that can help him get it recorded. Taking the CFA is a big part of the Summer Seminars. It's odd that it is wasn't recorded.

When I was visiting USMA I asked about CFAs at NASS... an admissions officer told me that they couldn't accept scores from there. I know that's counter to what's been stated on the forum and other online sources many times, but that could be a part of it.

Ok. Do you have the formal announcement of the scheduled test?
More than likely it was signed off by a military officer (or retired officer ).
Have you spoken to this military officer?
I think it can be resolved peacefully. And if this is for class of 2028, then do retake the test.

Has to have videos no matter what (well I've never seen them NOT required, esp since DPE reviews videos as part of final acceptance). Just redo it with videos. Scores look really good but BB throw is passing but a little short.

DS just received the green checkmark after completing his CFA at SLE. Posting his results in case someone would find them helpful, as his results were previously thought to be insufficient (I'm glad to be pleasantly surprised).

Pushups: 47
Pullups: 7
1-mile: 6.24
Shuttle Run: 8.8
BB Through: 77

Fair warning to others not attending SLE - I seem to recall from past USMA posts for CFAs, the green check mark means “received,” then it can change to reflect the video awaiting review, then a final check indicating either good news or direction to re-take, re-film some portion, etc.

I assume since SLE is eyes-on by USMA administrators, that the expected QA level is present.

Yes, I believe this green check from the SLE CFA this week and last is a pass since no videos were needed. Mine received an email stating that none of his events were at risk and then the next day he got the green check mark in his portal.

Plus the actual wording in the portal in that section says " CFA Status: ON FILE and PASSED ". Granted, the military can sometimes work in crazy ways, but that sounds relatively straightforward.

DS was told he passed at SLE this week. He said he declined to accept CFA scores. It now shows in portal as green check and “on file” and says no videos needed. It does not have any reference to “passed”. He then received email with scores and a NO RISK. I asked him to confirm he can repeat it later and resubmit. He said that is correct. He added his Sergeant said that was dumb and to take the Pass and work on grades or other areas if needed. DS son theory is he can max a couple of the tests and hopefully add to his to his whole score. He thinks he needs it based on ACT/SAT.
