67ft basketball throw
14 pull-ups
8.1 shuttle run
80 sit-ups
54 push-ups
6:10 mile

Working on push-ups still. It's strange how I am not good at them because I bench pretty heavy amount for my weight and I'm also not bad at high reps. Oh well just gotta work at it.

Same here for pullups. I'm a muscular job but pull-ups just aren't my friend. My mile is usually around a 7 minute mile, but I ran the CFA today after puking and while having a stress fracture in my left shin. So that part of the CFA really sucks for me

Yes, most folks find that pushups and their bench press aren't as related as they'd like. Remember that when you're doing pushups, you're expending lots of energy in your core keeping your body rigid for the pushup movement.

One tip to take with you: on the APFT, your feet can be up to 12 inches apart. This will feel slightly more stable and you'll expend a little less energy stabilizing your body as you push.

Thanks for the tips scout. I'll keep that in mind when I work on the APFT routine you showed me.

To original poster -

considering your condition, it's commendable you completed the mile at all. If you're unsatisfied with your mile time, I would suggest retaking the test if possible. Good luck
