I got a (what I think is satisfactory) score on my CFA. I was wondering though, will my mile automatically disqualify me? (I am a Male btw)

64 Basket Ball Throw
Maxed Shuttle Run
Maxed Pull Up
Maxed Sit Up
68 Push Ups
8:15 Mile (Pretty bad)

Mile. you need around a 7:30 minute mile. It doesn't matter if you are strong in the other sections. You failed.

I emailed Team Blue a couple weeks after my CFA to ask if "CFA recieved" indicated that I passed, and they emailed me back that I passed. I'm not sure if received necessarily indicates a passing CFA or if Team Blue has the ability to tell you. Maybe emailing Team Blue would give you some insight?

My CFA deadline was 11/30, and I submitted it that day. I hadn't heard a word about it since, which is probably a good thing because if you were lacking in some area or failed, they would have asked you to redo it. I think they let you know pretty early on if you failed or not. This is just my experience though!

Nah, he failed. My friend had the same mile, but had very strong strength and sprints. Still failed

I met a doolie who ran 8:15 on the CFA
Friend failed though. Across the internet, people failed with the mile time. I as well. Is this a woman? Was the person really doing well in academics that the admissions team wanted them badly?

I failed my first CFA and was notified within a couple hours, probably automatically. Failed because of 9 minute mile lol. Had 30 days, got it down to 7:20! Haven’t heard anything about it so I’m good I assume

If you failed your CFA, Admissions will let you know (probably within a couple of days or so). If not, they won't send you anything. So if you hear nothing at all, you passed.

Nice improvement! I ran at an 8:12 back in September 2021 but my other scores weren't looking so great, so I held off until November and improved in every area, except when I took the test on 11/30, I ran an 8:40 because it had gotten cold at my school (that day was around 3° and my high school is on the East coast and I'm from Cali) and the only track we had was outdoors. Luckily I passed, but I definitely noticed the cold eating away at my speed with each subsequent run.

It was a guy. He was very smart from what I can tell

Dang passed with an 8:40?!

The day I did mine it was cold, like 20 degrees F but I’m used to the cold so it wasn’t too bad, was my best mile on any full test yet and I had no more time so just sent it off.

That is simply not true. Well, your friend may be true but to say this guy failed is not true. Unless you are sitting on the selection committee you can’t say for sure he failed.
Hmm, weird. People I asked even on the internet failed with an 8 minute and above mile. There was a whole site for people to show their scores. Everyone on that site failed with that mile time. It was only for naval that the 8 minute mile is acceptable for them.

I guess you better get running! I went from a 9:45 to 7:30 within a month when I was in seventh grade. Keep pushing and update the admissions team with letters of your improvements. You want be able to run 5 miles no problem by the time you start BCT.
