Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the CFA.

So USAFA and USNA allow athletic coaches to administer the CFA, but I don't think that applies to USMA. If I were to transfer my CFA score administered by an athletic coach to West Point, will admissions accept it?

My second question is: can I take the CFA at an elementary school or a local park? Both meet all the requirements for a CFA location

This is where you have to lay out all the requirements for each SA and determine the solution set that meets all requirements. USMA also requires a video.

As long as the CFA is conducted per the instructions and with proper timing sequences, it can be taken indoors, outdoors or hybrid, I believe.

One other point that I make often: I emphasize to all of my students that the CFA is not an 'end' but the start of a commitment to physical fitness as a military officer candidate. Their workout routines must be 'routine' and continue throughout the school year and summer as they prepare to arrive at the Academy, or on the college campus, ready to meet the fitness requirements for either program, an Service Academy or ROTC.
