CFT at Camp Buckner

This article was written last year, but should give a good idea of some of what the rising yuks will be doing this summer. CFT (Cadet Field Training) started this past Saturday and will last 4 weeks.

I heard somewhere that West Point lets some rotc cadet come and participate in CFT, does anyone know how one applies or gets selected for that tremendous opportunity?

This is true - Camp Buckner is a summer training option for some AROTC cadets. They would apply through their Battalion. I am not sure how competitive the selection process is but it is done on merit.
