If you attend MMI or GMC- those credits will transfer to another school. I don't think credits transfer from NAPS. You are paid by the USCG and you will pay your tuition for GMC/MMI from that pay. My daughter had received several scholarships her senior year and GMC was able to use all her scholarship awards, which decreased her tuition greatly at GMC. Your pay and housing from the USCG is much greater than your tuition, so it makes you capable of saving quite a bit of money throughout the year.
