I sent you a PM but in a nutshell -
It depends. My opinion - if you are NOT sponsored, I suggest you sign up for their ECP program. You will go to camp this summer and get started on ROTC right away. They can even help you get an AROTC scholarship.
If you do NOT win an appointment then you can stay for your second year, get your Associates degree, get commissioned as a 2nd LT and transfer for your bachelors degree.
If you choose not to go the ECP route and go for one year and fail to win an appointment there are many institutions that will transfer your credits. You also will have the first year of ROTC completed.
