Hey y'all!

I'd like your thoughts on my resume and my chances of getting into USAFA. I have had the dream of going to USAFA since 6th grade and my pull towards it is stronger than ever after attending the USAFA SS. I am now a rising senior and have completed the first steps to being part of the Academy. I have submitted my PCQ in March and am now a candidate. Here is my resume:

Academics - Weighted GPA: 4.971/6.0 College GPA: 3.922/4.0 SAT: 1380 (620 ERBW, 760 Math - I will be taking it one more time in August) Rank: Top 15% (Missed top 10% by .04) Class size: 251

Physical - I plan to take my CFA mid September and have started to train for it. I am a Male. Here are my current stats:
Push-ups: 55
Situps: 95
Pull Ups: 8
Basketball Throw: 52 ft
Shuttle Run - Around 8.9 - 8.7
Mile Run - 7:01

If you guys have any advice that could potentially help me better my CFA results, I would greatly appreciate it.

Extracurricular - NHS (2 years), Boys State (House of Representatives - Education Chairman), CERT Team Certified, Swim Team (3 years, 1-year team captain and 3 years Lettered Athlete), Class of 2025 Class Officer at school, Texas Youth Preparedness Council (TXST), EAA YE Program (6 years), Civil Air Patrol (5 yrs - C/Maj and have staffed numerous activities), Key Club (school), DECA (1 year), BPA (1 year), NASA High School Aerospace Scholars Program (1 year). I have also founded a company which helps tutor students with math and have started dropshipping, and School Key Club Officer (Do not know which one yet - 1 year).

I am currently worried about my congressional nomination. I am from a competitive district in Texas (TX-26 Burgess) and I am worrying about the essays and interviews. I do have great mentors and people with connections, but I do not know how to prepare for it.

Any sort of advice would help significantly and would be greatly appreciated.

I refer all my students to the CFA prep by and from Stew Smith who is a USNA grad, ex-SEAL and military fitness expert. Find him at www.stewsmithfitness.com. He has some great YouTube videos, too.

One other items: you should note that your SAT English score is at the minimum noted by USAFA so focus on raising it in August. I'm sure others will add more details.

Keep up the good work!

Khan Academy has great SAT tutorials and USAFA superscores - meaning they will take your highest scores from different administrations. I would definitely work on SAT scores. Burgess is a tough district. Are yo being recruited as a swimmer? We have some North Texas swimmers at USAFA.
