I am also applying for the class of 2025 and one of the first things I learned from this forum is that no one here can tell you if you will get in or not. This is not only because no one here makes the decision for you, but also because there is so much going on behind the scenes such as essays, interviews, and nominations. Also, watching the thread about the talented kids who are unfortunately receiving TWE's has shed light on how important the competitiveness of your district is. The best thing we can do is continue to work hard, persevere through these tough times, and put our best possible application forward.

You are definitely competitive, great work. GPA is great, you are taking challenging courses, have a high SAT/ACT, lots of leadership and extracurriculars, and are in sports. Just keep improving everything. Continue to get A’s in all your classes. Look for more leadership spots, get those varsity letters in sports. Try to get Billy Mitchell award. If you have time improve your test scores. Make sure you are training for CFA. And finish your application early, so many qualified applicants procrastinate and don’t finish a part of app, or don’t get a nomination. Keep working hard and I can definitely see a appointment in future.

I think you look pretty good! An imposing resume! Many of your accomplishments are very similar to mine and I was accepted into this class (and in fact, you honestly look like you have more of a "chance" than I did). Get that SAT score you're aiming for, keep doing your best, keep your focus, look for leadership opportunities like LATS said, apply for your nominations as soon as possible, keep flying those drones (cause what could be more fun?), finish your application early, do a practice interview before your important interviews ($1,000,000 advice), start working out for your CFA (and hopefully, BCT), and (seeing your involvement in church :) ) whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him!

USAFA_86 is right that your district does matter, and can make things more difficult, but don't worry about that. Worry about what you can control and don't sweat that which you can't.

About 99% of the advice to be found on this forum is "do your best in literally everything." Which sums up applying to a service academy perfectly 😂

The academy is looking for future leaders for our Air Force. To lead is to serve, to serve is to love, to love is to decide, to decide is to risk.
