Change AFROTC Major after winning

I won a Type 7 scholarship for a technical major, and selected Operations Research on my application. Am I bound to Operations Research or can I use it for any technical major such as Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering? If so, do I have to let them know about the change now?

My son has a type 7 and is a Computer Science major. Check with the cadre at your school which majors are eligible under type 7. Congratulations!

As eljay60 stated, check with the cadre. There is some flexibility for changes in majors, but it does depend on from what, to what.
