checking into hotels

On many hotel websites including the one I booked, it states that the minimum check in age is 21. Im sure a majority of people going on i-day are not 21 yet. Does anyone else have this problem and what should I do?

Calll ahead and explain. Every area hotel will know about I Day. Be sure to get the manager’s name that you spoke to and received their approval
 
Does anyone know if "The Academy Hotel" by the South Gate has the 21 and older policy?

Don't remember. Regardless, a quick phone call to the hotel and you will know for sure. Many cadets stay there so agree with above, call and take with management if an exception is needed - I'd be surprised if they didn't agree.

Note on Academy Hotel - request to stay in the newer wing. We were in the old and moved....it was worth it and it was the same price I believe.
