Hi everyone. I am currently a junior and applied to the USNA a while ago, including applying for the NASS (denied) and being invited/attending the Candidate Visit Weekend in April. I was wondering when I should be receiving a Candidate Information System login or a Candidate number, since my friend in school already got one recently.

My DD received her as well over a week or so ago, and she like you, did not get NASS but attended a CVW in April. If you don't hear soon, you may want to contact an Admissions Officer for advice.

I applied to NASS and got accepted, my CIS opened up early this month. It might be that those who apply earlier get their portal opened earlier, but if you applied at the same time as your friend then I could be wrong.

I applied to NASS about one or two days before the deadline so I don't think applying earlier affected when CIS info was sent out because I got it the same time as everyone else.
